Last night, Apple sought to put itself in the centre of a new wave of smart home gadgets as it joins the at-home digital assistant ring. The tech giant unveiled a device called HomePod. It is a next generation voice-controlled music player. This is the first major new product category that Apple has launched after they unveiled after the Apple Watch last 2014.
