Google is launching an ad blocker to Chrome and they are telling all publishers to get ready for it. The warning is to let website owners assess their own ads and strip anything that can be disruptive to their pages. Why? Because Chrome’s upcoming ad blocker doesn't block all ads from the web. Instead, it’ll only block ads that are determined to be annoying or intrusive, like videos that autoplay with sound or interstitials that take up the whole screen.
Google is already working on its next Pixel, and as a part of the process, they are talking to LG’s display Division. So here is an early clue to what we can expect to see for the next Pixel phones from the search giant: Flexible OLED Display.
Last year, Google announced that they would shut down Map Maker, their older online tool that allowed anyone to contribute updates to their “Google Maps” application. Map Maker has been around since 2008, it has let users correct or fill in missing map content (place details, roads, business information, etc.). This tool has been a big help for people in emerging markets, where most often than not, official or detailed maps are not yet available.
